Follow-ups
Never lose a deal to silence. Every company can carry the date of its next follow-up.
Most deals aren't lost to a "no". They're lost because nobody called back. In LeadUp, every company can carry a next follow-up date, and Tasks lists them all:
| Group | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Overdue | Follow-ups whose date has passed. Start here every morning. |
| Today | What you promised to do today. |
| Upcoming | What's coming, in date order. |
Home shows today's follow-ups too, so they're the first thing you see.
Setting the date
Today, follow-up dates are set when a company moves through an AI agent or the API: ask your assistant "Move Odonto Vida to Meeting and remind me on Monday at 2 pm", or send nextFollowUpAt with the API.
A rhythm that works
- After first contact: follow up within two or three working days.
- After a meeting: send the proposal within a day, and set the follow-up for when they said they'd decide.
- After a proposal: one follow-up a week until there's an answer, then mark it won or lost.
